Chapel Allerton Methodist Church

Where everyone is welcome

Our Minister

Hi and welcome to Chapel Allerton Methodist Church (CAMC).

Thanks for taking the time to pay us a visit, I hope you find the site useful and informative. I hope if you are able to pop in and see us in person some time, you will find us to be a warm and friendly bunch.

At CAMC we realise that for many people Sunday is just another work day, or their only free day to do leisure activities, the dreaded trip to the supermarket, or even just have a well earned lie in, and therefore coming to a Sunday morning service doesn’t fit with their lifestyle. At CAMC we are very keen on caring for people both physically and spiritually, and so we are looking at ways in which we can help you find a way of being in touch with God, and developing a relationship with him through Jesus in a meaningful way that suits and benefits your lifestyle.

Prayer is a very important part of our Christian lifestyle at CAMC and it is one of the ways in which we support each other, and our local and global communities. There are more details on the ‘Prayer & Share’ page which you can find under the ‘Groups' link. There is an opportunity for you to send in prayer requests on that page, alternatively you can send them to me via the link on the 'Contact' page. Like wise if there are any issues that are bothering you, or if you have any questions you would like me to answer please feel free to send them to me.

We will be adding more to our site in the coming weeks so please come and visit any time to see what’s going on.

Peace & Joy

Andrew

Rev. Andrew Atkins

My name is Andrew Atkins and I am the minister here at CAMC. I am married to Vicky and we have four children. I was born in Hartlepool; yes that’s right the place where they hang monkeys! I love football, cricket, great food, (washed down with a glass or two of red wine) music, reading, films etc., etc.,
