Paul's Plodders

This is a social walking group generally made up of church members and their friends.

Our first walk was in September 2004 and since then we have generally ventured out on the first Wednesday of each month. We walk anywhere between 6 and 7 miles, give or take a few hundred yards, with a convenient refreshment and comfort stop after 4 to 5 miles. This usually takes the form of a suitable hostelry.

So far we have had between 8 and 20 walkers with ages ranging from 30 something to well into their 80’s.

The walks are generally fairly easy, within  20 miles of Leeds, have an easy pace with us chatting as we go on an immense range of subjects.  It is chance for us all to talk to people we may not normally see much of at church on a Sunday.
